Mitchell S. Wagner, MD is a board certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatology surgeon. He has extensive training is primary and revision joint replacement surgery.
Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Wagner spent the past 15 years in the Valley serving patients at his private practice, Premier Orthopedics, as well as practicing with Phoenix Orthopedic Group and Medpro Orthopedics. Dr. Wagner received his orthopedic traumatology fellowship training at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in Tampa. He completed his internship and orthopedic residency training at the Cleveland Clinic as well as extensive orthopedic surgery training in pelvic fractures at New York Medical College. Dr. Wagner earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. In addition to his extensive training and education, Dr. Wagner served as a Contributing Editor for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma.
Dr. Wagner is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), Orthopedic Trauma Association (OTA) and Arizona Orthopedic Society (AOS).
